Part of our guide: How to Buy on Vinted · Buying Pre-Loved on Vinted

A few minutes of checking before you click buy can save you from a disappointing parcel. Use this list on any Vinted listing.

  1. Are there enough photos? At least four, including the inside and any flaws.
  2. Is the lighting natural? Heavy filters hide colour and condition.
  3. Are the measurements given? If not, ask.
  4. Does the condition match the photos? “Excellent” should look excellent.
  5. Is the brand label visible? Check for care labels and composition tags.
  6. Does the price make sense? Compare with the original and with similar listings.
  7. What do other buyers say? Read reviews and look at how the seller replies.
  8. Does the seller answer questions clearly? It is a good sign.
  9. Is everything staying inside Vinted? Keep payment and messages in the app.
  10. Is the item right for you? Check sizing, fabric and how you will wear it.

Spotting problems early

If a seller will not provide extra photos or measurements, treat that as a warning. If the price looks far too low for the brand and condition, ask more questions. If anyone asks you to pay outside Vinted, walk away.

After you buy

Check the item as soon as it arrives. If something is not as described, take clear photos and follow Vinted’s process promptly. Leave a fair review once you are happy.
